Hi, my name is Yogi Bear and I am about 2 years old . As Lulu told you ,we were trying to survive on the streets of Romania. It was hard to find food and I gave whatever I found to feed lulu. Lulu never left my side ,she was soooo scared and cried a lot . She would cuddle into me for warmth and whimpered as she fell asleep.
When we arrived in Scotland I somehow knew we were safe ...I told Lulu not to cry anymore .....We were home ...... Lulu didn't want to be separated from me ,she cried and frantically scrambled to cling to me ......hiding underneath me ......Aunty Jean told us we would never be apart . We are now safe and are together ..... I lie on the soft grass and watch Lulu play with our new canine family ....running ......jumping ......Happy.
Hi ,my name is Lulu and I am about five months old . I had been living rough with my canine Dad, Yogi Bear, on the streets of Romania. We were always hungry but my Dad ,Yogi always shared whatever he could with me, often going hungry so that I could eat.
It was sometimes dangerous with other abandoned dogs all fighting to survive. My Dad, Yogi, protected me and made sure we found somewhere safe to sleep at night.
He limped a lot and licked his leg, it was swollen . I don't know what happened to my mum or litter siblings... one day they were there and the next...it was just me and my canine dad....... We heard people talking and they were going to take my Dad away...something about used for fighting...I would be used for breeding more unwanted puppies. Fortunately a kind person found us and took us to a kind lady . This lady contacted Aunty Jean .......our journey to Scotland had begun ........
Ollie is a very happy boy . He has been with the rescue for several years now. He had been very badly abused and was rescued by a dog warden who had heard him getting beaten by the owner. Sadly Ollie doesn't trust strangers and is very wary of men. Once he gets to know you he is the most loyal, loving Dane and will protect you with his last breath! Ollie will probably never find a forever home but he is safe with his Carer.
Please Donate towards his keep but if you Adopt Ollie, you will receive piccies and regular updates and a lovely Festive card signed by his own Paw Print!
Boogie is a beautiful boy ! He is living with a foster carer long term. Occasionally Danes come into us that we know may never find a loving home. In these instances we try and place them with a long term fosterer . Boogie had been sold many times on a website He is a big boisterous boy who doesn't realise his size!!
He is a very loving Dane but has been treated harshly in several of his previous homes. He has not been socialised and therefore not good with small dogs or cats. He had been cruelly tormented by children when he was a young puppy and now he is unsure of them. Some people would give up on such a Dane and put him to sleep, but we truly believe he deserves to live. You only need to look into his eyes to see the love that shines from within them. Boogie Boy will probably end his days with SGDR...
Please Adopt him and/or donate toward his keep. We will send photos and regular updates on his antics and Boogie will even send you a lovely Festive card signed with his own Paw print.
